Wine Review: This pale straw colored Albarino from Rias Baixas is very good. It opens with a mild lime and Bosc pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, juicy and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty lime with notes of nicely integrated minerality with hints of Anjou pear. The finish is dry and its flavors and controlled acidity linger nicely. This Albarino is food friendly and would be perfect with stemmed shellfish or Coquilles St. Jacques. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense and elegant with tropical fruit and kiwi complementing granitic minerality. Made from free-run juice, a well-structured, dry Albarino with a long finish.
