Wine Review: This white gold colored Albarino from Rias Baixas opens with a pilsner beer, tangerine and pear like bouquet with hints of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a very tasty pear with notes of minerality and tangerine. I also detected hints of beer, pineapple and lime in the background. The finish is dry and its delicious flavors linger nicely. This Albarino is food friendly and would pair well with Emeril's crab cakes. The only thing I would change is to replace the green plastic cork with a real one. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense and elegant with tropical fruit and kiwi complementing granitic minerality. Made from free-run juice, a well structured, dry Albarino with a long finish.
