Wine Review: This Spanish Albarino is impressive and very good. It is pale white gold colored and opens with fragrant ripe Bartlett pear with a hint of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused Anjou pear with a hint of gentle lime. The finish is dry and flavors drift away nicely. This Albarino is extremely food friendly. I would pair it with pan-seared scallops with tomato ragut and caramelized shallots. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense and elegant with tropical fruit and kiwi complementing granitic minerality. Made from free-run juice, a well structured, dry Albarino with a long finish.
