Wine Review: This pale golden yellow colored Godello opens with a spiced quince and wet stone bouquet with hints of yellow grapefruit zest, pastry crust and honeysuckle. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with nicely integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous, fresh, and zesty. The flavor profile is lemon-lime and crushed stone minerality blend with notes of saline and yellow grapefruit. We also detected hints of quince, tart green apple, almond, and a touch white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Godello with pan-seared grouper sandwiches with mojo mayo or with a sea bass poached in parchment paper with lemon and garlic. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Elegant, intense, clean, full on the palate expressing the wild herb and fruit components of the variety in equal measure, underpinned by the minerality of the region's slate and chalk hillsides. Unoaked and fresh, fruit/floral/mineral blended into a harmonious whole.
