Wine Review: This pale yellow colored wine is made from 100% Godello grapes. It opens with a pilsner beer like bouquet with a hint of green grapes, pear and anise. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and shows slightly elevated acidity. Yet it also remains round in the mouth. The flavor profile is a mineral infused mild green apple with spice notes throughout. There was also a hint of grapefruit detected as well. The finish is dry and its tingly spice notes continue well after the wine is gone. The panel suggested pairing it with chicken, shrimp, and sausage paella or chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Elegant, intense, clean, full on the palate expressing the wild herb and fruit components of the variety in equal measure, underpinned by the minerality of the region's slate and chalk hillsides. Unoaked and fresh, fruit/floral/mineral blended into a harmonious whole.
