Wine Review: This pale rose gold colored Pinot Gris from Oregon opens with a wet slate and cantaloupe bouquet with hints of white grapefruit, quince, and marzipan. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with zippy medium acidity. The flavor profile is lemon and crushed stone minerality blend with notes of yellow grapefruit and white tea. We also detected a hint of pear as well. The finish is prolonged and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot Gris with coconut shrimp or with a fisherman’s platter. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Pale straw in color, the 2021 Acrobat Pinot Gris shines through with bright, crisp flavors. Lemon zest elements on the nose highlight aromas of apple, pear and melon. Following the nose are flavors of crisp Fuji apple, pear and minerality. These mingle on the mid-palate, rounding out a medium bodied mouthfeel with nice acidity and a refreshing, bright finish.
