Wine Review: This inviting pale straw-colored Pinot Gris from Oregon opens with a fresh fruit bouquet that includes cantaloupe, lime, tangerine, pink grapefruit and hints of vanilla. The medium body palate is smooth and slightly dry with bright acidity and minerality. The flavor profile is lemon-lime, green apple, pear with notes of ginger. The finish is refreshing, slightly tart and pleasantly fades away. I would recommend pairing this well-priced Pinot Gris with prosciutto-wrapped cantaloupe. - Joe

Winemaker Notes: Pale straw in color, the 2018 Acrobat Pinot Gris shines through with bright, crisp flavors. Rose petal elements on the nose highlight aromas of Asian pear and ripe cantaloupe. Following the nose are flavors of fresh pear and Fuji apple. These mingle on the mid-palate, rounding out a medium bodied mouthfeel with a refreshing, bright finish.
