Wine Review: This opaque and pitch black colored Malbec from Argentina is New World meets Old World in terms of style. It opens with a mild smoky oak and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a fruity ripe blackberry and smoky oak blend with notes of black pepper and plum. The finish is dry and it moderate oak tannins are a little dusty and linger with its fruit. This wine’s fruity flavors with a noticeable amount of oak make it an interesting blend of styles. This combination makes it a good match for barbecue steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense, pure, full colours and young aromas. This wine completes our vision of Malbec. We wish to honour the insignia variety of Mendoza. Rich with luscious raspberry and macerated currant, Mendoza Malbec has dark, juicy finish. This wine is vivid and racy in character.
