Wine Review: This is a true Barbera even at the basic Piedmont level. A high-toned, high acid gem that rings more than it does rumble. Eucalyptus, raspberry, and cedar are the top notes one picks out. On the palate, the wine is a bit more complex showing bright acidic fruits like kumquats, Rainier cherries, and huckleberries. This wine needs food as the acid is much higher than usual. It should be held for another year or two to allow the acidity to mellow out. – Nicolay
Winemaker Notes: Ruby-red colour, fruity scent, elegant and harmonious flavour.
