Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored wine from Australia opens with a red plum and red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, easy going and a little juicy. The flavor profile is a pleasant mild black cherry with hints of red plum and gentle oak. I also detected hints of blueberry. The finish is dry and it has virtually has no tannins. Its flavors do, however linger. This is an easy going crowd pleaser that will be a versatile glass pour. I would pair it with Italian food. Especially meat lasagna. Enjoy - Ken
