Wine Review: This reasonably priced translucent red currant colored Rose opens with a shy bouquet featuring fruity raspberries, strawberries and hints of tangerine. This wine is made from mostly Syrah. On the palate, it is light bodied, slightly off-dry, fresh and crisp. The flavor profile features strawberries with hints of melon and apples. Some slightly tart citrus flavors appear towards the end. This easy drinking Rose has a nice palate presence on the finish. I would pair this good value Rose with crab cakes and tartar sauce. - Joe
Winemaker Notes: This Syrah-based Rose opens with delicate aromas of rose petals and rhubarb. Refreshing flavors of melon and strawberries are followed closely by a kick of citrus in the finish. Perfect by the glass with grilled tuna, paella, and light salads.
