Wine Review: Semi-opaque garnet in color, this Merlot from the Columbia Valley opens with aromas of toffee, caramel and French toast. On the palate, the wine is medium-plus in body, fruit-forward with black cherry and blackberry flavors. The tannins are rather soft and lead to a pleasing berry-vanilla finish. This is an easy-drinking, food-friendly wine that could pair seamlessly with either pasta carbonara, sirloin sliders, or an array of hearty dishes. – Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: This round, structured Merlot is packed with rich flavors and aromas of blackberry, plum, cherry and mocha. Balanced in style, the wine is soft, approachable and food friendly. Serve BBQ ribs, burgers & pasta marinara.
