Wine Review: This dark red colored blend from Washington State was well received by our small tasting group. It opens with a black cherry, cranberry and pomegranate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a black cherry, cola and plum blend with hints of faint oak, black pepper and mild minerality in the background. The finish is dry and its mild tannins drift away nicely. This wine is not overly complex is crowd pleasing. I would pair this good value wine with your favorite burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This robust red blend kicks things off with aromas of spice and cedar, leading to flavors of cola and cherry. A lighter oak regimen shows off the wine’s unique characteristics, including lively acidity and a dramatic enduring finish. Pair with spicy Indian curries, Tandoori chicken, Korean style barbecue.
