Wine Review: This pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from 14 Hands is a good value. It opens with a fragrant yellow grapefruit and flint like bouquet. On palate, this wine is light bodied, pleasantly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a mineral infused mild grapefruit with hints of lime, Bosc pear and tangerine. The finish is dry and its flavors linger slightly. This Sauvignon Blanc is food friendly and would pair well with fish and chips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This vibrant Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of citrus and passion fruit. Bright flavors of gooseberry, grapefruit and guava lead to a crisp, juicy finish. Food Pairings: seafood salad, spring green salad with goat cheese, grilled swordfish, and oysters on the half shell.
