Wine Review: This Syrah from Adobe Road Rocks! It is almost pitch black in color and it opens with a terrific boysenberry and plum like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, ultra smooth, and tremendously balanced. The flavor profile is a spectacular blend of black currant and blackberry. The finish of this wine is just incredible. It is dry and sails along for at least a minute after you swallow it. This gem is an absolute steal at $38. You should call the winery as soon as your read this. There are only 446 cases. A few of my panel members have a head start on you. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is all about richness—deep luscious plum, blueberry and dark cherry fruit with dark earth, espresso, chocolate and scrumptious baking spices. This is a tremendously giving Syrah. Its big fruit flavors meet eye to eye with generous alcohol and just the right amount of acidity to make this wine a truly unforgettable sipping experience.
