Wine Review: This very dark purple colored wine opens with an attractive blackberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and a bit disjointed at first. However, with a little air it came together and displayed dusty black cherry and juicy blackberry flavors. There was noted old oak flavors integrated as well. The finish was dry and its fine tannins linger for quite some time. The group thought this wine would be a very good match for prime rib. Cheers – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2006 D’Adamo wine is an inky purple color. The nose is comprised of beautiful currant, blueberry, blackberry and licorice notes that move into a viscous palate full of concentrated fruit with fine tannins and a long vibrant finish.
