Wine Review: Cono Sur frequently offers terrific value in its wines and this offering is consistent with that message. This very pale yellow colored wine finished in 4th place in our recent blind tasting of Sauvignon Blancs. It opens with a light lime and gooseberry like bouquet. On the palate, this light bodied wine is crisp and a little tart. It displays green apple flavors with some light lemon and minerals mixed in. The finish is dry. The panel thought this wine would nicely complement swordfish or chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The strong Pacific Ocean influence and red clayish soils join to foster this refreshing, crisp, pale yellow-green wine. On the nose, fine citric notes of grapefruit – along with all sorts of citrus – combine with a perfect mineral character. It’s an expressive Sauvignon Blanc – mineral, fresh, elegant, delicate, juicy and balanced.
