Wine Review: This almost black and very opaque wine opens with a leather like bouquet with hints of smoky black currant as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. It is not and overly complex wine, but it quite food friendly. The flavor profile is an oak influenced black cherry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins linger nicely. This wine would pair very nicely with spaghetti and meatballs or a meat based lasagna. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Medium red, purple in colour. Bright plum, cassis and fine minty touches. Youthful palate with plummy like fruit, balanced by firm but accessible tannins.
