Wine Review: This very dark opaque purple colored Syrah is a big boy. It opens with an attractive blueberry bouquet with hints of spice noted. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, juicy, and rich. It displays blackberry fruit flavors and blueberry notes as well. There is a dash of black pepper sprinkled in for good measure. The finish is dry, tingly, and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. This is a wine that will appeal to Aussie Shiraz fans. For food, I would pair it with venison or bison. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Present on the nose of this savory Syrah are layers of black cherry, blackberry, smoked meat, Herbs de Provence and spice. Flavors of plum, mulberry, dark chocolate, black cherry and vanilla are sure to please the palate
