Wine Review: White Oak has always been one of the most affordable Napa Cabs out there. It is consistently Very Good and a good value for a Napa Cab. This year’s vintage is almost black in color. It opens with an appealing ripe blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, crisp, and easy drinking. It displays dusty light blackberry flavors with a hint of menthol on the back palate. The finish is dry and its managed tannins are slightly prolonged. Our mini tasting group thought this wine would pair well with shepherds pie. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Dark and slightly brooding with aromas of dark chocolate, cassis, and rose hip. Full and juicy in the mouth, the flavors of currants, black plum, and tea are supported by ripe tannins. Black fruit and toasty oak combine to form the lingering finish.
