Wine Review: This value priced Sauvignon Blanc with appeal to readers who like bold citrus styled wines. This light yellow colored wine opens with a fragrant ripe grapefruit like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, crisp, and quite tart with strong lime flavors. There are notes of grapefruit on the back palate as well. The finish is dry and its citrus flavors are quite refreshing. Our mini panel thought this wine would be perfect on a hot day by the pool. As for food, it would be a quite nice with sharp cheddar cheese. Enjoy - Ken
