Wine Review: Joe Carr named his second label "Josh Cellars" after a nickname his dad had. It’s a great story to hear Joe tell it. Just as great is this Cab based wine he has assembled. It was one of our favorite wines at this year’s Boston Wine Expo. At $17 this wine is an absolute steal. This dark ruby colored wine opens with a cherry like bouquet with a hint of truffle. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is balanced, very easy to drink, and has no hard edges. The flavor profile packed with very tasty ripe Maraschino cherries with infused vanilla. The finish is quite dry and its tannins sail on for quite some time. We felt this wine would be an ideal complement to a prime rib. Enjoy – Ken
