Wine Review: This Malbec from Trivento was one of the most popular wines in our recent blind tasting. The panel awarded this wine with 90.29 points and it finished in third place. The wine was a very dark ruby color. It opened with a heavenly spicy blueberry bouquet. On the palate, it was full bodied, smooth, and creamy with slightly tart cherry vanilla flavors. Notes of plum were also detected. The finish is quite dry and its noticeable tannins linger for quite sometime. The panel thought this wine would pair nicely with coq au vin or blackened catfish. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Garnet red with bluish tints. Perfectly ripe red fruits. A great range from the oak are appreciable too; vanilla, smoke, toast and spices. It is concentrated, expressive, and, appetizing. Silky tannins make way for a flood of sensations on the palate, long, and convincing finish.
