Wine Review: Mulderbosch has been a leader in South African Sauvignon Blanc for years. This pale yellow colored wine opens with a gooseberry and light lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and invigorating with extracted tart pink grapefruit flavors. There are note of lime and a touch of minerality on the back palate. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This wine would pair well with grilled swordfish with a mango and pineapple citrus salsa. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This racy bottling single-handedly put South Africa on the map as a source of world class Sauvignon Blanc. One of the Cape’s most heralded and sought-after wines. Vivid tropical fruit aromas give way to succulent, mouth-filling flavors of guava, lychee, gooseberry, lime, and fresh cut grass, supported by a bracing jolt of acidity.
