Wine Review: This Zin is a perfect option for readers who enjoy a fruit bomb style of Zin. This bright ruby colored wine opens with a big ripe raspberry and boysenberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and very juicy. The flavor profile is a lush raspberry with notes of dark chocolate and spice on the back palate. The finish is dry and its moderate, but tingly tannins linger for some time. This easy drinking Zin would be a wonderful accompaniment to pulled pork sliders or veal parmigianna. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The old vines of the Dusi Vineyard have come to define the intense bramble-berry flavors of Paso Zin. The dry-farmed vines produce small quantities of fruit with dense concentration and wild spice. White pepper, rich black fruit and raspberry notes, followed by intense wild blackberry flavors, good structure, and subtle oak finish.
