Wine Review: This Merlot from Concha y Toro is very dark ruby in color. It opens with an oak infused blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and soft with juicy black currant like flavors with some blackberries mixed in. The finish is dry and shows noticeable tannins that are quite persistent. We felt this wine would pair nicely with meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: This fine Merlot has an intense varietal bouquet and richness of flavor. Deep red. Dark berries with hints of tar. On the palate, the wine is velvety and firm with ripe tannins imparting smoothness and balance.
