Wine Review: We recently conducted a mini blind tasting of 4 Sauvignon Blancs and this one tied for top honors. It is pale yellow in color and opens with a light lemon like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is very nicely balanced, easy to drink with very tasty light lime flavors. The finish won me over and I described it as dry, very extended, and refreshing. This wine is very food friendly and would pair very nicely with swordfish or halibut. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Napa Cellars 2007 Sauvignon Blanc is ripe with the aromas of guava, banana and lime, layered with the fragrance of orange blossom. The palate is pure and clean with hints of minerality and pepper. This classic Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect companion to Herbed Chicken Breast tossed with Penne Pasta, Zucchini, Ricotta and Basil.
