Wine Review: This light yellow colored wine was well received by the small tasting group that tried it. It opens with a very pleasant light ripe pear and tropical fruit like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, and easy to drink with tasty citrus flavors. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This is a quaffing wine that can be enjoyed with linguine and clams in a garlic butter sauce. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Adobe White is a proprietary blend with a golden straw color, and fine floral notes of orange blossom and rose petal. Pear and apple aromas, and a varietal Chenin Blanc character, are also apparent. The full mouthfeel is rounded out by the structure of the Roussanne. The finish is crisp, but balanced with a bit of residual sugar. The mouthwatering fruit flavors are of red apple and stone fruit.
