Wine Review: This bright ruby colored GSM from down under is quite a fruit bomb. It opens with a pleasant blackberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and quite flavor packed with juicy blackberry jam like flavors. There are notes of spice and pepper as well. The finish is dry and its reasonable tannins linger nicely. This wine would be a perfect wine to have with a rack of barbecue ribs. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: "Again the 2006 pedigree shines through with its dark colour, intense perfume and elegance. The nose is a mix of beetroot, cherries and crème caramel. The flavours are rich and lush with black fruits and silky tannins. With airing the wine reveals characteristic flavors of boot polish, dark chocolate, flint, dried roses and lavender."
