Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Viognier was recently recommended by our mini tasting panel. This wine opens with a light pear like bouquet with a scent of honey. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, easy to drink, and clean with light citrus flavors and a touch of honey. The finish is dry and refreshing. The group thought this wine would pair very nicely with a dover sole. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our fifth release of Viognier has been highly anticipated. If you are looking for a white wine with complexity, balance, and a crisp finish- this is the wine for you! Blended with 8% Roussanne, this barrel fermented wine will entice you with tropical aromatics, ripe pear, honeysuckle, and minerality notes. The finish is clean and lengthy with hints of citrus and vanilla. This wine can be enjoyed during the summer months or you can age it for 1-2 years for added complexity.
