Wine Review: We recently tried thru a few Gewurztraminers and this pale yellow colored offering from Snoqualmie was well liked. "Naked" the name of this wine, means made from 100% certified organic grapes. Which several tasters felt was a plus once they were informed. It opens with a pleasant lemon lime like bouquet. On the palate, this light bodied wine shows a little residual sugar and is slightly sweet. There is a touch of spritz and it displays apricot and peach like flavors. There is also a touch of lime and spice as well. It was a nice mixture. The finish was semi sweet, refreshing, and it lingers. The panel felt this wine would pair nicely with bacon wrapped scallops or an oven baked ham. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: "Orange blossom and spice aromas are complimented by a refreshingly crisp and juicy mouthful of fruit flavor. This wine has decidedly pure impressions of fully mature Gewurztraminer grapes with slight mineral characters of the terroir." - Joy Andersen, Winemaker
