Wine Review: This bright ruby colored wine opens with a light raspberry like bouquet with a hint of truffle. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is balanced, has nicely integrated acidity, and has savory complex flavors. Those flavors are lead by raspberry with cranberry, light spice, and dark chocolate mixed in. The finish is dry and its soft tannins linger slightly. This Pinot is a very friendly food wine that would pair nicely with pork tenderloin and salmon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Exploding with rich, dark berry fruits, black cherry and Santa Rosa plum, the aroma of this wine is ripe and mouthwatering. Vanilla and a hint of cola add to the quintessential Russian River Valley profile. The palate is lush and the finish long and luxuriant. As with past vintages, this Pinot will be enhanced by aging for at least six years.
