Wine Review: This wine seems to be a winner every vintage. It is dark ruby in color and opens with a spicy blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, smooth, and shows tasty blueberry flavors. The finish is dry and its berry flavors linger for quite some time. This would go well with barbecue ribs. Winemaker Notes: Nose: Rich and dense blackberry jam, spicy vanillin and a hint of camphor. Rich oak lift, spicy cedar & fruitcake. Palate: Raspberry and blueberry jam, prunes and vanilla spice. Round fleshy palate of berry and spice, rich mocha. Hints of pepper with a big soft tannic finish.
