Wine Review: This producer has consistently done well with our panel and this year’s vintage got the nod from two of us again at this year’s Boston Wine Expo. This very dark purple colored wine opens with a heavenly berry and menthol like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, and easy to drink with spicy black currant like flavors. The finish is quite dry and its well managed tannins are nicely prolonged. We would pair this wine with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The nose opens with deep plum, violets, cedar and bittersweet chocolate. Bright cola berry follows with notes of caramel and dried fig and a lingering, dark cocoa finish. Will age nicely for the next 5-7 years.
