Wine Review: This wine was described by the tasting panel as a nice winter white wine. It finished in fourth place in our recent blind tasting. This white gold colored wine opens with a slightly honeyed and faint lime like bouquet. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is well balanced, creamy, with a very nice mouthfeel. There is a mild bosc pear like flavor profile with hints of sherry and pineapple. The finish is dry and subtle. The panel felt this wine would nicely complement pork chops with apple and bacon. Winemaker Notes: Beautifully balanced and very distinct in character, this is an elegant style of Pinot Gris, which is full bodied, supple on the palate, and long on the finish. Tastes of lemon peel, peach, apple and roasted nut.
