Wine Review: This dark ruby wine opens with a cherry like bouquet with hints of dried cranberry and earth. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is soft, balanced, and warm with tasty cherry and plum flavors. The finish is dry, with moderate tannins that are initially subtle and then builds up the longer you keep it in your mouth. The panel thought this food friendly wine would pair nicely with a burger, meatloaf, or pizza. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Intense dark color. Floral, dusty, chocolate/coffee, tar bouquet. Rich black fruit, blackberry, cassis, coffee, cocoa, well integrated tannins. This wine has become a classic for us. It’s lightly blended with 10% Malbec from our Estate Vineyards.
