Wine Review: Wow, this wine is quite deceptive and impressive! This very dark opaque purple wine opens with a moderate black cherry like bouquet with a hint of spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very approachable, and elegant with very tasty black cherry flavors. The finish of this wine is dry and its managed tannins sail on for a really long time. The deceptive part is while this wine is on your palate. You’ll have no visions of this wine being a wine to cellar. However, late into the finish the wines sneaky tannins show its age worthiness. It’s truly hard to find a wine that is so approachable now and has the ability to stand the test of time. I think this wine does that. Enjoy it with beef bourguignon. Cheers - Ken
