Wine Review: I recently tasted thru some CDP’s with Alain Junguenet at the Newport Wine and Food Festival. This gem from Pierre Usseglio was one of my favorites and quite impressive. This dark ruby wine opens with a very attractive dried cranberry like bouquet with hints of cranberry. On the palate, this wine is smooth, very well balanced, elegant with fruit forward black cherry flavors with hints of spice. The finish is quite dry and the tannins are managed, but sail on for a very long time. Enjoy this beauty with a grilled steak sometime soon. Cheers - Ken
