Wine Review: Neil Ellis’ Groenekloof Sauvignon Blanc has been a consistent winner. This pale yellow wine from South Africa opens with a classic gooseberry like bouquet. On the palate, this light to medium bodied wine is balanced and flows into tasty tangy grapefruit flavors with a touch of lime. The finish is dry and quite refreshing. This terrific offering has a lot of flavor and would greatly enhance a swordfish steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Predominant flavours are those of tropical fruit with herbaceous overtones, whilst the overall impression is of elegance and delicacy with a long flavoursome finish.
