Wine Review: This straw yellow colored wine might be one of the best Chard’s that I have has recently from South Africa. It opens with a pleasant light lemon and green apple like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, well balanced, soft, with impressive light lime flavors with a touch of apricot and very light oak. The finish is dry and nicely refreshing. This wine is very food friendly and I would pair it with a rich New England clam chowder. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Attractive green tints. Tight lemony/lime aromas with green apple and a touch of vanilla. Tight focused palate with citrusy fruit and an elegant, long finish.
