Wine Review: This is the second year in a row, that I have recommended a Vidal from Swedish Hill. I was a judge in the Golden Nose Award and this wine was one of the winners from one of flights. This faint yellow wine opens with a classic peach like bouquet. In the mouth, this wine is off dry, creamy, and offers up slightly tart lively lime like flavors that nicely cover the palate. The finish is slightly sweet and lingers nicely. This wine would pair nicely with ham or serve as a good aperitif. We also just found out that this wine just won the “Best Wine in NY” at the New York Food & Wine Classic. It beat out 774 other wines to receive top honors. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A crisp, semi-dry varietal wine with a combination of floral and fruity flavors from start to finish. Try it with your favorite poultry dishes.
