Wine Review: This bright dark ruby colored wine opens with an attractive wintergreen and black cherry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, impeccably balanced, and velvety. The flavor profile is a very tasty gentle sour cherry with a hint of anise and blackberry. The finish is very dry and its slightly oaky tannins are very nicely prolonged. This may be the best Querciabella in recent years. Pair this beauty with a thick and juicy prime rib. Enjoy - Ken
