Wine Review: This is a perfect "Party Pour". A "Party Pour" is a wine that does not cost much, so you can buy it by the case and not feel bad or broke if the whole case gone by the end of the night. This option from Four Vines would fit that bill. This ruby wine open with a spicy cranberry and cedar like bouquet with hints of cherry. On the palate, this wine is round, juicy, and has good acidity. The tasty flavor profile is nice black cherry flavors with some spice and blackberry. The finish is dry and lingers nicely. This quaffer is not complex, but would pair nicely with barbecue chicken or ribs and it will be a hit at your next party. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: We have such a great wealth of Zinfandel that we have the ability to put together a fantastic multi-appellation Zin Blend. On the nose the wine has layers of berry fruit and anise aromas with hints of spice. On the palate, blackberry and spicy plum fruit with a rich mouth feel trailing to a velvety toasted oak finish. Enjoy with a friend!
