Wine Review: Theresa & I recently split a split of this pleasant wine at a family dinner. This light yellow wine opens with a lemon custard like bouquet with a touch of light oak and caramel. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine is creamy, slightly acidic, with lemon and oak like flavors. The finish is dry, tingly, and slightly prolonged. Theresa enjoyed this Chard with her Cobb Salad and I did as well with my breaded haddock. Both were good matched. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: "The 2006 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay bursts with enticing aromas of citrus, floral notes, butterscotch, lemon peel and a slight spicy quality. In the mouth, flavors of citrus, pear and honeysuckle combine with subtle toast and caramel, adding richness and texture to the long, lingering finish." Melissa Stackhouse, Winemaker
