Wine Review: We entered this blended wine in our blind Merlot tasting just to mix it up a bit. It performed quite well by finishing in fifth place. This ruby red wine opens with a mild black cherry bouquet with a hint of currant and vanilla. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is round, juicy, with dried berry and slightly tart black cherry flavors. The finish is dry and slightly prolonged. The panel felt this would match well with duck or Steak au Poivre. Enjoy - KWGTP
