Wine Review: Finding a good inexpensive wine that will please everyone for you summer shindigs is not always the easiest thing to do. But this value priced wine from Gallo might fill that need. This wine opens with a mild cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is very smooth, balanced, and easy drinking. The flavor profile is dusty black cherry with a touch of dark chocolate. The finish is dry and brief. This is not the most complex wine, but it is a bargain and will be well received and quaffed by your guests at your next barbecue. This would also be a Good reception wine if you couldn’t afford to spend a lot of money on wine. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich layers of red cherry and currant are framed by sweet vanilla from oak aging unfold on the palate. Medium in body, the wine is very approachable now and maintains a balanced mouthfeel.
