Wine Review: Sometimes you are given a wine from someone that says "Try this, it’s really good." In my business, you might be a bit skeptical after hearing that a few thousand times with mixed results. But when this wine was presented to me, the Wow this is really good aura hit me as soon as the wine hit my tongue. This straw yellow wine opens with a light lemon and iced tea like bouquet with a hint of guava. On the palate, this wine is nicely balanced, smooth, slightly sweet with delicious citrus and pear like flavors. The finish is quite refreshing and lingers for some time. This wine would be a perfect pool wine for a hot summer day and I would suggest pairing it with broiled scallops. If this wine is a preview of the 2007 vintage out of Germany, then I can’t wait to try more of them. Cheers – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Refreshing, clear, clean animating Kabinett style. Citrus and apple. Excellent balance and long finish.
