Wine Review: This wine is a perfect Chenin for Chard drinkers who are looking for a change. This light yellow wine opens with a very aromatic bouquet that shows some light oak along with some vanilla scents. On the palate, this medium bodied wine is balanced, creamy, smooth, with light oak influenced pear like flavors. The finish is dry and nicely prolonged. This bargain wine was absolutely a perfect match for my chicken raviolis which had a smoky cream sauce which melded nicely with light oak flavors. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The wine is light yellow in colour with green tints. Lightly wooded, this full-bodied wine shows an abundance of guava, ripe melon and honey blossom aromas with subtle oak flavours. On the palate this full-bodied wine displays tropical fruit, butterscotch, and vanilla. - Winemaker: Pieter Badenhorst
