Wine Review: This white gold colored Champagne was my third favorite offering from the vertical tasting of Palmes d’Or that I recently attended at Radius in Boston. This Champagne opens with a slightly musty bread dough like bouquet. On the palate, this Champagne is light to medium bodied, fresh, lots of flavor, lively, and crisp. The flavor profile is citrus like with hints of green apple. The finish is dry and nicely prolonged. This champagne would pair very nicely with seafood or chicken based appetizers. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: A pale yellow hue, with fine delicate bubbles. Nose: its complex aromas are dominated by notes of pastry and caramel, lifted by subtle touches of fennel, star anise and lemon peel. Palate: caramelized notes mixed with surprising hints of liquorice. Smooth and long.
