Wine Review: On the complete opposite end of the affordability scale from Querciabella’s “Camartina” is their “Mongrana”. This dark ruby red blend is solid and affordable. This wine opens with an earthy and cherry blended like bouquet. On the palate, the wine is round, has no hard edges, and has a dry mouthfeel. The flavor profile is dusty cherry like. The finish is dry and has lasting soft tannins. Overall this wine is pleasurable and very easy to drink. It would pair nicely with meatloaf or beef bourgounne. Enjoy – Ken
